We had made an offer with the caption above, AS-IS WITH ALL FURNISHINGS AND PERSONAL ITEMS INCLUDED. While the seller accepted the offer on an estate sale, she didn't want anything, the Real Estate Professional took it upon himself "After a signed around agreement" to go into the property and take what he wanted, truck loads I might say. After we caught him and instructed him to return the items, he said he would flub the deal before he returned the stolen item, antiques, tools and more.... a very bad mistake on his part. Knowing Contract Law and Real Estate Ethics being licensed for over 30 years myself and now retired, I first warned him, he didn't care thinking I knew nothing of the "Code of Ethics". After numerous conversations I finally told him I am done with his bad ethics, I will file a Grievance with the B.O.R.

At First he thought I was full of you know what and became even ruder before our closing. When it came to closing, I followed through with my part while he tried to flub the deal. I closed it and filed a grievance which anyone can do for violations of the "Code of Ethics" which a Realtor must abide by. He was ridiculed and embaressed in front of his fellow Realtors, fined, sent back to school and it's on his record for his violation of over 6 out of 13 counts.

The one request on my part is that his license was not be revocked as that was his livelyhood for his family, even though he could have lost his license. I doubt he will do it again to any other unsuspecting person or buyer, but Buyer Beware....

What would you have done???

Snowbird Blogs Rules of Common Respect for others!

Welcome to Snowbirdblogs.Com >>> your free unobstructed version to speak your mind and chat with others. Those who understand a Snowbirds needs will thrive in todays marketplace...

The definition of a Snowbird from Websters is Someone (Usually Retired) who travels South for the warmer winter climates and then returns North for the milder summers temperatures.... but here's the facts...

The legions of Winter Visitors and Snowbirds that for decades have boosted the economy are about to take on a new and in many cases a more permanent look.

They are expected to show up in larger numbers but with different needs and preferences. Some will be retired. Others are expected to delay retirement and buy vacation properties that generate rental income when the owners are not in town.

Especially with the outragous price of gas, more Winter Visitors & Snowbird are expected to buy condos or homes that they visit several times each year, instead of spending just the winter months renting an apartment or RV space.

There are about 76 million baby boomers, the nickname given to those born between 1946 and 1964. Previous generations are much smaller -- 52 million called the "Bob Hope generation," or those born between 1910 and 1927; and 47 million in what is called the "SED generation -- the Sinatra, Elvis and James Dean generation," or those born between 1928 and 1945.
